INSIGHTS FROM A GLOBAL UX ODYSSEY
1. Overcommunication>>Undercommunication
Always overcommunicate over undercommunicate with the clients/leadership role. This builds trust and relationships with people and goes a long way in managing relationships. Give frequent updates and keep them in the loop of your status.
2. Devil is in the details
It is critical to pay meticulous attention to every aspect of your design work. Overlooking small details can undermine the entire project, highlighting the importance of precision.
3. Organizational excellence
Maintaining an organized approach to file management and backups is crucial for collaboration, especially in teams across different time zones, ensuring accessibility and efficiency.
4. Cultural nuances in communication
Engaging with clients worldwide has underscored the diversity in communication styles and reactions, enriching the design process with varied perspectives and insights.

My Role
As the Lead UX Designer for this project at Ogee Studio, I helmed three cross-functional teams, liaising between my company and the client. My role was pivotal in facilitating weekly sync-ups, directing brainstorming sessions, and overseeing the creation of wireframes, design systems, and prototypes. On-site visits further enabled me to ensure seamless design handovers and address development challenges in real-time, solidifying a collaborative and adaptive approach to design excellence.
